Outemit

Outemit vs Hookdeck Outpost

Hookdeck's inbound product is strong for collecting events into your own systems. Outpost is the closer outbound comparison: managed destination delivery with a listed Starter model of 50,000 destination deliveries free, then about $10 per additional million, with a self-hosted Apache-2.0 option. Those figures are from Hookdeck's Outpost pricing page as of 9 September 2026 and can change.

Outemit is outbound-first for SaaS vendors notifying customer endpoints. It is not an inbound webhook gateway. If your pain is ingesting third-party webhooks, Hookdeck's inbound product fits. If your pain is shipping customer webhooks with signatures, retries and a tenant portal, evaluate Outemit against Outpost and Svix—not against inbound collection.

Where Outemit differs

Tenant portal for your customers, Standard Webhooks-style signing, explicit retry versus replay, Test/Live keys, and a dashboard aimed at diagnosing failed customer destinations. Outemit does not currently match Outpost on listed usage price at high volume, extra destinations such as queues/brokers, or advertised multi-region SLA tiers.

Shared ground

Both products care about reliable HTTP delivery to destination servers. Neither is a Zapier-style automation platform. Choose on destination types, portal needs, compliance, and measured cost at your volume—not on homepage slogans.
